The majority of the researchers at the division of Social Medicine and Global Health (SMGH) are teachers and supervisors in the Master's Program in Public Health. They are also similarly engaged in the International Master's Program in Development and Management (LUMID) and the program in Medicine and Nursing.
SMGH also offers an elective course in Global Health designed for medical students. Drawing on their respective areas of expertise, the teaching staff provides the latest research evidence and ensures that globalhealth issues are adequately addressed. The administrative staff is composed of highly competent individuals with academic backgrounds, each of whom experienced in handling international students and staff.
